Lately

Hello!  It snowed this week, and we went sledding today with Dad.  It was soooo much fun.  Anyway, here's some pictures of what's going on lately.

I got glasses!  They're nerdy, and I love it.  My mom said they look like glasses her mom wore.  ;)

My brother's perfect looking dough from his most recent baking escapade – croissants! 

My angelic brothers.  Yeah, right.  Ha!  You should've seen another picture I took of them.  I think they were pretending to be tigers... :D

I recently took down the little Christmas trees from my room.  Sad day.  But hey, we've still got February!  I just hope it keeps snowing.  xo, Ella

Antique Mall Finds

Hi there!  Last Saturday our family traipsed up to an antique mall about 15 minutes from our house.  It was soon after Christmas, so there were a bunch of old Christmas ornaments.  I was so excited!  Then, I found a polaroid camera!  For 10 bucks!   Granted, the film is really expensive and I don't even know if it works, and it doesn't have the stripe down the middle, but, I figure it still looks cool.

Happy Thanksgiving a day late!

Hi there!  Finally, I have a break from school!  It's been non-stop craziness.  So one thing I'm thankful for is Thanksgiving break and the weekend.  I do love my weekends.

Thanksgiving has gotten me thinking.  I'm going to try to be thankful for one very specific thing every day this coming year.  We have so much that we don't think about and take for granted.  I'm going to make a list of them so that I don't say one thing twice.  When I think about all that I have, 365 sounds like a small number.  I mean, I could think of 50 right off the bat.  It's going to take some hard thinking when I get closer to the next Thanksgiving, but I'm sure it won't be too difficult.

So I just wanted to wish you all Happy Thanksgiving even though it's late.  I hope you had a wonderful day and didn't eat too much!  xo, Ella

Hello!  I am currently adoring fall in all of its leafy, colorful, latte-y awesome-ness.  I don't understand why anyone couldn't.  It makes me all warm and fuzzy waking up in the morning and it's still dark out.  I'm taking pictures of my my Pumpkin Lattes every Saturday morning like they're going out of style (which they aren't and won't).  I'm oohing over sweaters and mustard cords on my computer screen until I have imagined them into my closet.  I'm taking photographs of the scenery because I love it sooo much.  I love fall like a dork.  Obviously.
